The importance of strategic planning to organisations has grown substantially in recent years. A successful strategic plan is the focus point that leads an organisation's major goals, policies and actions towards a cohesive future.
Aims of the workshop include:
- Identifying the steps to creating a strategic plan.
- Noting what each step involves

By the end of the workshop participants will have:
- Worked through each stage of the strategic planning process
- Made some progress with their "real life" strategic plan

A one day Strategic Planning Session may include the following elements:
- Creating a statement of strategic purpose - a strategic mission and vision
- Strategies for change
- Criteria for an effective strategy
- Strategy and organizational teams
- Clients/customers and their expectations
- Formulating strategy
- Strategy analysis and evaluation
- Key performance indicators and targets
- Operational plans - correlating goals and objectives
The program outlined above is a typical one day program. Programs can also be designed to suit particular organizational needs. Programs are interactive, and are designed so that participants make real life progress in the development of their strategic plans.
